Large Unfinished #1 Recessed Picture Frame Medicine Cabinet (14" x 18")

I needed a cabinet in the guest bathroom but I didn't want to disturb the décor and a picture on the wall was an excellent choice. A compliment will be made about the picture and never realizing that it's the medicine cabinet.

Purchased this product recently upon recommendation from the contractor who remodeled my bathroom. It's a great idea (!), and works very well. Design and quality were good, but I felt it was a bit overpriced for - although at least shipping was included :-)

A good product overall. Needs a piece of glass for the picture. Would have preferred a landscape configuration option. OWNER'S NOTE: Every unit includes a piece of high quality Plexiglas. Sometimes people don't realize it's inside the frame because it is shipped with a brown wax paper still attached (to protect it from scratches and fingerprints). There are instructions included with the cabinet that tell you to peel off the wax paper to expose the glass. I'm not sure which customer this is or I would contact her personally, but if she had written us to ask about the glass, we would've sorted this out with her personally.

Overall a good product. All the dimensions were accurate for the carpenter. The picture indicated a Bevel in the frame and a gray color but actually it is flat and an raw wood color. In a perfect world these cabinets would also be available in landscape configuration for real concealment. Overall I would buy again but probably bump up to the next size. OWNER'S NOTE: Sorry for any confusion, but there is no bevel indicated in the description and the photo is of the actual flat front frame she received. The color she references is simply a difference in the natural color of raw wood. The photo on the site is of poplar wood, while the unit she received was made of alder, a better quality wood with a consistent grain that is ideal for staining.
